bargain crochet patterns

I do love a bargain - I just picked up the 2007 Crochet Pattern-a-Day calendar at 50% off! I only just resisted buying Origami-a-day and Sudoku-a-day as well…

Lots of inspiration in here, and it’s kind of making me want to submit a pattern for next year’s calendar, although that may be a bit ambitious with only 3 weeks until the submission deadline… I’ll think about it, and if I don’t make the deadline, I’ll have plenty of time to design something for the 2009 calendar!

I was given this calendar by some friends for Yule this year. I recognize a lot of the designers in it from crochet blogs and Crochetville. I saw the submission form too– didn’t realize the date was so soon! Go for it! :)

But WHERE did you get it? I still don’t have a calendar because I haven’t found one I could stand to look at every day. Hubby tried, but I took that one back.

dulcet, I got mine from Carlton Cards, but other bookstores and greeting card stores also stocked it, although they’ve probably sold out by now. But it’s still available from amazon.com: http://tinyurl.com/yc4jzu

I got both crochet pattern a day (2006, 2007) calenders for 99 cents each! But, you got a good deal too.
