introducing AmiDogs

Thanks to those of you who voted in my poll! As 78% of respondents said they would be interested in one or more doggy crochet patterns, I’ve been busy designing and now I’m ready to reveal my latest project: AmiDogs!

Press Release

AmiDogs by PlanetJune is a new range of amigurumi dog crochet patterns from the designer of the Fuzzy Friends collection. Each AmiDogs pattern is designed to capture a different breed of dog.

The patterns will be available individually and as value-priced sets of three. The initial release will include the first set of three patterns: Labrador, Dachshund and Shiba Inu. Suggestions and requests for future AmiDogs patterns are welcome!

I am so excited! I have been wanting to make a dachshund! I am definitely buying this one! My husband loves beagles! and my brother is away at college and when he was a little boy, he use to love the dog show: Wishbone! So I am making him a terrier to send to him. Thanks for the fun patterns! 🙂

  6. My big thing is crocheting cupcakes so I have never attempted animals. My daughter is crazy about the childrens series Charlie & Lola (we are from the UK) and the sausage dog called Sizzels who is one of the characters. We searched high and low in the shops for a Sizzels, but Sizzels was was not to be found – I can’t wait to see her face when I make this for her.

    Many thanks 🙂

I just ordered the ami-doxie pattern. Our daughter has an adorable doxie that no one wanted. They named him Oscar, short for his full name of Oscar Meyer Weiner Gamble Burnham . . . Thank heavens he is a long dog since he has such a long name!

I’m looking forward to surprising her with your pattern of a crocheted doxie. She will be so surprised. She wanted one but had not found one anywhere. It’s a bit late for her birthday, but she won’t care~

Thanks for sharing your creativity with everyone!

Would love a Welsh Corgi and a Papillon but I know they are sort of unusual. Your idea for dog patterns is great. I think you will find a lot of demand eventually.

    Cheers!

How darling…..hope you design a chihuahua! I have always wanted one but since I have 2 cats….getting a dog is really out of the question. But I love your doggies! Adorable!

I LOVE your doggie patterns! I have Pugs and I was wondering if there will be a Pug pattern in the future?

I LOVE the dachshund. You should do a husky too, with your fuzzy yarn as the tail. I love huskies.
You could do a lot of fuzzy dogs actually. Oh and a poodle!
