Singing Frog EXPANSION PACK crochet pattern

Singing Frog is an original EXPANSION PACK for the Poison Dart Frog crochet pattern by June Gilbank. This is a pattern add-on, not a complete pattern.

What is an Expansion Pack? An Expansion Pack is an add-on to an existing PlanetJune pattern. It lets you modify or add to the original pattern to create something else. You cannot use an Expansion Pack alone - you must also purchase the original pattern to make the pictured items.

This Expansion Pack includes all the modifications required to crochet a 'singing' frog (with inflated vocal sac). You will also need the Poison Dart Frog pattern.

Size: approx 6.5" (16.5cm) long

Yarn: worsted weight yarn in any colour. In this colourway, my frog resembles the beautiful Madagascan Golden Mantella, but you can make frogs in any colour you like!

Hook: E US/3.5mm crochet hook 

Additional info: You'll also need 3 pipe cleaners to make the legs poseable. The ends of the pipe cleaners are protected, but please be sensible and don't use this as a baby toy unless you skip the pipe cleaners and stitch the legs into position instead.
