Yarn: 
Adults: worsted weight yarn in white, and a small quantity of orange (or your preferred colours)
Babies: worsted weight yarn in yellow and/or brown (or any other suitable colours, e.g. grey, black, white), plus orange or black for the bill (or your preferred colours)

Hook: US E / 3.5mm

Details (Adults): Use this pattern to make any solid-coloured duck or goose, with simple lines and realistic shaping.

Details (Babies): This pattern includes three mix-and-match options for the down markings, and two bill shapes, depending on whether you’re making a baby duck or goose.
