If you're joining in with the Ravellenic Games as part of Team PlanetJune, this is your chance to crochet my new Axolotl crochet pattern before anyone else has access!
How It Works
- Buy the pattern now and you'll have access to the first part of the pattern (the crochet instructions) in time for the start of the games on Feb 6th, so you can crochet along with me as I make my second axolotl for the pattern cover photos.
- Over the next few days, I'll be editing the second part of the pattern (the assembly instructions) while you crochet the pieces of your axolotl. By the time you've made all the pieces, you'll be able to download your assembly instructions, giving you plenty of time to complete your axolotl before the end of the CAL on February 22nd.
- I'll be releasing the final, completed pattern around the end of February, and you'll be able to download the final polished pattern from your PlanetJune account as soon as it's ready!
Note: I'll email you each time a new version is ready to download, so you won't miss any updates! Your download link will always give you the most current version of the pattern.

PATTERN DETAILS:
Yarn: worsted weight yarn in pale pink, beige, yellow, brown, or any other colour you like, plus a small quantity of pink, red, orange etc. for the gills
Hook: US E / 3.5mm
Additional info: You'll also need 2 pipe cleaners to make the legs poseable. The ends of the pipe cleaners are protected, but please be sensible and don't use this as a baby toy unless you skip the pipe cleaners (tips for how to omit them are given in the pattern).
Size: approx 9" (23cm) long
Eyes: 8mm
