Ornamental Gourds Set 2 is an original crochet pattern by June Gilbank, including patterns for 3 realistic life-sized gourds: Mini Bottle, Spoon, and Crown of Thorns.

Yarn: worsted weight yarn in your choice of the following colours: orange, white, dark green, yellow, tan, light green; plus beige or brown for the stem and blossom end.

Hook: US E / 3.5mm

Additional Info: The no-sew patterns included in this set are arranged in order of increasing difficulty:

  • For a simpler gourd, the Mini Bottle and Spoon use only basic crochet stitches to create their iconic shapes.
  • Or try a new technique to make the stunning Crown of Thorns gourd with its unique 10-pointed shape.

(The pattern includes bonus appendices for both right- and left-handers that include full step-by-step photos to walk you through the special techniques.)

Size: approx 4-6" (10-15cm) tall, excluding stems.
