I wish I had this book when I was starting out. I would have avoided a lot of newbie mistakes. But now, even as an experienced crocheter, I have learned a lot of new tips and tricks from this book to make my Amigurumi look really polished. I have only tried my hand at designing Amigurumi a few times before. I look forward to trying to make my own patterns again using June’s chapters on designing one’s own unique creations. This book is full of excellent photography, both instructional, and those showcasing June’s beautiful and cute creations. June Gilbank is a perfectionist with everything she does. You can rest assured that all the patterns and information in this book have been rigorously tested and proofread. This cannot be said for most craft books, in my experience. Whether you are just starting out or have been crocheting for decades, there is valuable information in here for everybody.
