The Essential Guide to Amigurumi is an excellent resource for both crochet beginners and more experienced crafters. June has included all the tips and tricks she has discovered over the years, and illustrated them with very clear and easy to understand pictures. I especially love that she includes information often lacking in other references, like what patterns assume you know and how to fix mistakes. And the chapter on design is a great addition! I don't plan on designing anything, but I do like to occasionally change up patterns. After reading that section, I feel so much more confident. All in all, this book is an excellent resource for anyone interested in creating amigurumi.
