Three original Christmas Tree crochet patterns by June Gilbank.

This pattern includes three different styles of any-size tree designs - Standard, Narrow, and Wide - so you can make tall and short trees in each of the three different shapes. Each tree is worked in one piece, with a simple, easy-to-memorize stitch pattern that results in detailed, realistic-looking foliage.

Make a collection of realistic conifers in any shades of green and white, or make trees in any colour to match your decor. Choose your favourite shape and make multiples of the same types of tree, or create a natural-looking display of firs, pines and spruces with lots of variety in shape, size and colour.

The pattern also includes instructions to make any of the trees with a two-coloured 'snow-covered' effect.

Yarn: worsted weight yarn in one or more shades of green, white, or any other colour(s) of your choice! (The foliage is surprisingly yarn hungry: my sample trees used between 40 and 120 yards of yarn, depending on the size and shape.)

Hook: US E / 3.5mm

Size: Samples are approx 3-7" (7.5-18cm) tall, but you can make yours as tall as you want! (Your gauge and yarn choice will affect the finished size slightly.)
