Banded Lace Wrap is an original PlanetJune Accessories crochet pattern by June Gilbank.

Wear this wrap as an elegantly light and lacy shoulder wrap, or as a frothy lace scarf (the layers make it surprisingly toasty as a scarf!). It’s easy to crochet in any width you want, from a skinny scarf to a full-width rectangular shawl. Although each pair of bands uses an 8-row repeat, there are only three different stitch patterns to memorise, so you’ll be flying through it in no time.

My lace patterns are designed to be worked with normal-sized hooks into the spaces between stitches, which means that, after the foundation row, there's no hunting for those tiny fine loops to work into, and they are a pleasure to work.

Size: Finished wrap measures 52" x 7.75" unblocked; 64.5" x 10" blocked. Pattern includes instructions for resizing the length and width of the wrap.

Difficulty: easy/intermediate

Yarn: approx 400m lace weight yarn
Sample uses 50g Diamond Luxury Collection Baby Alpaca Lace in #401 (Light Grey)

Hook: G7 US / 4.5mm and H US / 5mm crochet hooks

Optional: blocking wires and/or rustproof pins, and a surface for blocking

Details: The pattern includes full stitch diagrams as well as clear written instructions.

Note: Take advantage of the savings when you buy any three PlanetJune Accessories patterns of your choice as a custom set!
