As with all of June's patterns, her instructions are very detailed and specific. I had trouble at first because I had forgotten to work in BL only with fuzzy yarn. The shape was looking very off and I was getting very frustrated. I ended up emailing June for help and thankfully she shot me an email right back with the (duh!) solution. Remember that working with fuzzy yarn you need to work in the back loops-her page gives a couple different ways to do this. Easy as that, my pattern started taking the correct shape. I used Lion Brand’s Homespun yarn in Charcoal color and the ferret fur looked pretty close to natural. Just remember to work in the back loops; you’ll save a lot of yarn and get the desired length of the ferret.
