I made this little Chihuahua as a gift and I have to say that I was reluctant to give him up when he was finished! The shaping in the body is amazing - you can't see it in the pattern photo, but June has created the perfect Chihuahua body shape. My recipient was overjoyed and couldn't get over how much he looked like her dog.

As a crochet project, the pattern is well-written and easy to follow. I had no trouble working the increases and decreases, and June's instructions for stuffing as you go are spot-on. If I make another Chihuahua, I'll definitely make sure I have one of her stuffing tools on hand (they weren't yet available when I started the pattern); the legs are proportionately tiny and required a chopstick to stuff - but the end result was well-worth the effort.
