I have made several of these, and they come out so cute! However, if you use an E hook and regular worsted-weight yarn, you will end up with a very tiny elephant (this took me by surprise)! So, if you want a decent sized elephant, go with bulky yarn and a larger hook. The pattern itself, like all of June's patterns, is well-written, organized, and easy to follow.
