When my mother-in-law had to move into an assisted living facility, she couldn't have pets, so I crocheted her the tuxedo cat and she loved it! It was the first time in many years she hadn't had a cat, and having a little one that fit on her coffee table helped her feel like she still had that companion! This pattern was easy to follow, and a great introduction to “colorwork”, carrying the yarn, etc… Another home run pattern!
