Coincidentally, my brother asked me to make him an orca about a week before this pattern was released. I was very intimidated as I'd not done color changes at this level before, but it was actually easier than I expected. I used June's tutorials on color changes, and once I'd done a few passes I got the gist of it. It's actually a really great pattern for stepping up to the next level with color changes, because it's still only two colors, it's very clear and easy to follow the directions, and the pieces themselves are actually very simple and easy to assemble. I would recommend this to anyone who's done some crochet/amigurumi work before and is ready to move beyond "beginner" and into intermediate work.
