I somehow lost this item on my iPad so I got it again. I have made the different sizes of pine ones, I find the directions to be very clear and easy. However, I would not recommend this pattern to someone who is new to crochet. I would say this is a. Intermediate level for a person who is familiar with crocheting.The patterns render realistic looking cones. Hope this helps, Connie M
