I made this in sage green with Vanna's Choice yarn. The pattern was easy to follow and execute, simple enough to "fall into a groove" and not think too much (a plus for me!) -- and came out beautifully. To my astonishment, it even came out the expected size -- not usual for me as I crochet very tightly! Start to finish, it took me maybe two hours, including "make a mistake and pull out half the work" time AND learning how to do the foundation single crochet stitch. I'm confident I could whip up another in an hour or less. These will make excellent holiday gifts, and bonus -- when you roll them up, they look like a gorgeous rose from the side!

For an extra cute touch, crochet a layered flower with a large button on the back that you can use to fasten the scarf around your neck. Perhaps June's "Basic Rose" would look nice!
