PlanetJune is the home of unique nature-inspired crochet patterns designed by me, June Gilbank.<\/p>\n

Everything you see on this site is designed, written and photographed by me, and I am committed to creating the best crochet experience for you. The two main principles that I live by in my work are quality and service:<\/p>\n

Quality<\/h4>\n

You can be confident that any PlanetJune pattern you choose will be clear, accurate and consistently written, with plenty of illustrations and step-by-step photographs for clarification where necessary. You can also see this demonstrated in my many popular crochet tutorials<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I absolutely believe in making all my patterns as clear and complete as possible, and I don’t put my name to anything that I’m not satisfied with. My experience as a technical writer has proven to be hugely beneficial to me as both author and pattern designer, as the main purpose of a technical writer is to convert techno-babble into clear instructions that everyone can understand. If you’ve ever felt cheated by a jumble of inconsistent terminology, confusing directions, and even outright errors masquerading as a pattern, you’ll appreciate why this is so important! <\/p>\n

Service<\/h4>\n

Simply put: if you aren’t happy, I’m not happy. All PlanetJune patterns come with unlimited support via e-mail; all my tutorials come with unlimited support via blog comments. If you ever have any questions about my patterns, or anything isn’t clear, I’m always happy to help.<\/p>\n

I have years of customer service experience, developed through running an IT helpline for schoolteachers, and working at a reference desk in a university library, and continuing through my years of caring for my PlanetJune customers, so I have a very strong service ethic. I believe that a sale should be only the beginning of our relationship.<\/p>\n
