{"id":285,"date":"2008-06-17T06:42:56","date_gmt":"2008-06-17T10:42:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.planetjune.com\/blog\/?p=285"},"modified":"2016-11-30T06:01:49","modified_gmt":"2016-11-30T11:01:49","slug":"introducing-folding-trees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.planetjune.com\/blog\/introducing-folding-trees\/","title":{"rendered":"introducing Folding Trees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s finally time to unveil the first of my secret projects! <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foldingtrees.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Folding Trees<\/a> is a new international collaboration that I have set up together with Eve in New Zealand (also my co-conspirator in the Crochet Along). <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foldingtrees.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/images\/foldingtrees.jpg\" alt=\"Folding Trees - the best tutorials and paper creations online\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is a huge variety of crafts that can be made from a humble piece of paper: origami, paper art, quilling, papercutting, recycled paper crafts &#8211; to name just a few. Our aim with Folding Trees is to <strong>collect<\/strong> the best tutorials we have found on the net, <strong>inspire<\/strong> people by highlighting amazing paper creations from talented artists and crafters, and <strong>share<\/strong> our own paper crafts and tutorials. <\/p>\n<p>On the site today, I am sharing a tutorial to make these puffy origami lucky stars from strips cut from magazine pages:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/ftimages\/luckystar2.jpg\" alt=\"Folding Trees lucky stars tutorial\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We invite people to share links to their own tutorials or point us to inspirational paper crafts they have seen. Everyone is also welcome to join the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/groups\/foldingtrees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Folding Trees Flickr group<\/a> and share photos of all their crafty paper projects with us!
