The new theme is Small Crochet &#8211; basically anything goes, as long as it&#8217;s small(ish). I&#8217;ve given 6&#8243; or less as a guide for size, but it&#8217;s not a strict rule. We&#8217;re going for small stuff as instant gratification &#8211; it&#8217;ll be refreshing after making countless granny squares for the last theme!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crochetalong.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/03\/small_themepic.jpg\" alt=\"small crochet flowers\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here are some examples of small crocheted items you could make:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Amigurumi<\/li>\n<li>Small wearables: headbands, wrist warmers, etc<\/li>\n<li>Coffee mug cosies \/ iPod cosies, etc<\/li>\n<li>Baby booties<\/li>\n<li>Flowers &#038; embellishments<\/li>\n<li>Small thread or wire crocheted items<\/li>\n<li>Anything else that&#8217;s small and crocheted!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We have free pattern links and advice to share.
