{"id":19676,"date":"2019-05-07T13:53:16","date_gmt":"2019-05-07T17:53:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.planetjune.com\/blog\/?p=19676"},"modified":"2022-10-22T08:18:14","modified_gmt":"2022-10-22T12:18:14","slug":"greenhouse-photo-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.planetjune.com\/blog\/greenhouse-photo-workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"greenhouse photo workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, I took the opportunity to learn more about photography and plants at a photowalk workshop hosted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colourparadise.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Colour Paradise Greenhouses<\/a> and taught by local photographer <a href=\"https:\/\/instagram.com\/tangentphotostudio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Abbi Longmire<\/a>. It was a great pairing &#8211; Abbi encouraged us to experiment with our cameras, and the greenhouse offered beautiful and varied subjects to photograph (and maybe some ideas for future PlanetJune plant designs&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>I used the manual (M) setting on my camera for the first time ever(!) and, after a shaky start, ended up with some half-decent shots.
