My daughter is crazy about the childrens series Charlie & Lola (we are from the UK) and the sausage dog called Sizzels who is one of the characters. We searched high and low in the shops for a Sizzels, but Sizzels was was not to be found - I can't wait to see her face when I make this for her. Our daughter has an adorable doxie that no one wanted. They named him Oscar, short for his full name of Oscar Meyer Weiner Gamble Burnham . . . Thank heavens he is a long dog since he has such a long name! I'm looking forward to surprising her with your pattern of a crocheted doxie. She will be so surprised.
